The servers are still down.

There's been quite a commotion lately because Blizzard seems to be upgrading the servers without much warning. The constant scheduled maintenances haven't really been that good lately. They've been ridden with a ton of bugs and have been extended for a very lengthy period of time.

I realize WoW is a very big game (and that's an understatement) and that more people in the staff doesn't really translate into an improvement of the game, but come on. You'd think that a company that's oozing with green paper would actually have the best service around. I think they're afraid of saying, "Alright, we're turning off the servers for three days straight to prepare for the expansion." because that would mean a loss of three paying days; three paying days from 10 million customers is a lot.

The problem is that they're keeping everyone on their toes. Everyone is expecting to play because they haven't said otherwise, but Blizz keeps pushing these maintenance schedules up our throats without saying it outright.

I'm sorry, I'll continue working on my Crusader Strike essay. I just had to vent a little.
